Why are Canadian Drugs USA's prices lower than the prices in USA Pharmacies?

Medications in Canada are less expensive than in the USA for a number of reasons. The Canadian government regulates what pharmaceutical companies can charge. Additionally, the strength of the American dollar makes the exchange rate very favorable with the Canadian dollar.

Do I need a prescription?

Before placing an order, you must have a valid prescription issued by a physician licensed to practice medicine in the United States.

Are all medications that I buy in United States available through Canadian Drugs USA ?

Not all drugs available in the United States are available in Canada.

What is the difference between the medications I purchase through Canadian Drugs USA and the medications I purchase in the United States?

There is no difference. All medications dispensed by Canadian Drugs USA are from the same companies that manufacture the medications purchased in American and are distributed through our affilate Canadian Pharmacy.  Although identical drugs may appear physically different, their therapeutic effects are the same.

What is the difference between Brand name medications and Generic medications ?

A generic drug is a medication for which the original manufacturer has lost patent protection. The generic drug is the exact same medication as the original brand name drug, simply made by another company. Due to strict regulations on the generic drug industry, these drugs must provide the same therapeutic effect as the brand name drug.

How large a supply of my medications can I buy?

You may only order as much as your U.S. Physician prescribes for you. Additionally, all prescriptions are limited to a maximum ninety (90) day supply.

Are there certain drugs that I cannot buy through Canadian Drugs USA?

Canadian Drugs USA and its affiliated Canadian pharmacy will not fill prescriptions for narcotics or other controlled substances such as benzodiazephines. We also will not fill prescriptions where either the drug or a different brand name of the same drug is not available in the U.S.

Are the drugs I receive from Canadian Drugs USA the same quality as the drugs that I buy in the U.S.?

Like the United States, Canada has exceptionally high standards along with a rigorous approval system and strict manufacturing requirements for pharmaceuticals. Many of the drugs sold in Canada are exactly the same as those sold in the United States. Other drugs are manufactured in Canada and are the version sold in Canada. Some drugs may have a different name or look different than the one you are familiar with in the U.S. As one example, in Canada, the U.S. drug "Prilosec" is called "Losec" and is a pill rather than a capsule, even though it is in fact the same drug and is made by the same manufacturer.

What is the Physician Review and Canadian Doctor fee?

Prescriptions issued in the U.S. are not valid in Canada; therefore, a fee is charged for a Canadian Licensed Physician to review your medical history and prescription and issue a Canadian prescription dispensed by our affiliate Canadian pharmacy. These fees are already included in our prices.

How do I pay for my prescription order?
